Marble Chinese Portoro is a marble originally quarried in Guangxi, China. Guangxi is a province in southern China. This province also has many other Chinese marble and Chinese granite such as Chinese Emperador, China White, Nero Marquina, Manao Red, Maple Red, Pink Rosa, and Zhima White.

The main feature of this Chinese marble is the golden veins. The color of the vein of this black marble is very similar to the color of real gold. Some of the veins are wide and some are very small. Some veins are straight and some are curve. The golden veins in this marble is like the golden paint painting on a black paper, which make this marble looks mysterious and full of imagination. The background color of this marble tile is black and this marble tile can be very bright and shinning as a mirror after it has been polished. This marble looks like the Italian Portoro marble, which is also featuring golden veins and black background. So, this marble is also called Chinese Portoro in China. But the golden veins of this Chinese Portoro marble is looked more like real gold than the Italian Portoro marble. They are both very beautiful black marble anyway. People also called this marble Chinese Black and Gold marble because they share some features with the Pakistan Black and Gold marble. The veins of Pakistan Black and Gold marble are usually flower shape and the veins of this Chinese Black and Gold marble are usually stripe shape or line shape. The color of the veins of the Pakistan Black and Gold is dark golden while of the Chinese Black and Gold marble is sharp golden. Now, more and more people use the Chinese Portoro marble instead of that of Pakistan.

This black marble is used as flooring, wall cladding, table top, bar top, window sill, bathroom vanity top and border line.
