Marble Wooden Yellow is a yellow marble originally from Guizhou, China. Guizhou is province in the south-west part of China, which is also the hometown of many other Chinese marble such as Wooden Grey, Green Veins.

The main color of this Chinese marble is yellow. The veins of this marble are light black, brown or yellow. The veins of this marble tile are straight and even. This marble is called wooden yellow because the veins of this marble is similar to that of the wood. Also the color of the marble like the color of wood. One of the features of this yellow marble is that it can be polished to a very bright level. This wooden vein marble is very hard and can be used for some tough applications. The marble blocks of Wooden Yellow can be cut in different directions: cross cut or vein cut. They have different veins when cut in different direction. The marble tile has stripe veins when the block is in vein cut and cloudy vein when they are cross cut. Which one is better is totally up to one's preferrence. In China, most people like vein cut marble tiles, not only this kind of marble but also other marble and travertine. This marble has other colors such as red and purple. The red one is called Wooden Red and the purple one is called Wooden Purple. But these two colors are not very popular in China market.
